"All that is gold does not glitter, not all who wander are lost."
-J.R.R. Tolkien
Kate Harris, Mel Yule, Ben Rawluk, and Alisha Blechman make up the Cycling Silk expedition team determined to bike after Marco Polo's ghost in Xinjiang, China. Hailing from Canada except for one token Yankee (but she was educated in Canada, so that counts), the four of us are connected by fluke and good fortune - Kate grew up with Mel, randomly met Ben when they were both biking across the USA, and studied abroad in Mongolia with Alisha. Check out our bios to learn more about the crew.
