I'm a nomad who loves unfenced countries and unguessed-at life. Someday I'd love to launch off this planet, but for now, I'm happiest exploring the most exotic and alien environments on Earth. In the past few years, I've been lucky enough to live in a ger (yurt) in Mongolia, battle leeches in a Bornean rainforest, fall in love with all things ice and mountains on the Juneau Icefield of Alaska, and explore the Mars-like Dry Valleys of Antarctica. When I'm not not roughing it outdoors or wandering foreign lands, you'll most likely find me daydreaming about doing both. Or thinking about aliens. Last summer I did some biking in the US of A, and I'm a member of The Explorers Club and the Mars Society. |
